What if I told you that your biggest dream could actually be limiting your life? For as long as I can remember, we've been told to dream big.

Follow your dreams. Never give up on your dreams. Manifest your dreams. Visualise your dreams.

And while I absolutely believe dreams have their place, I'd love to offer you another perspective that recently popped in for me. What if we've misunderstood the purpose of THE DREAM?

What if the dream was never meant to be the destination?

What if the dream was simply the DOORWAY into an experience? And what if it's our attachment to the dream that is actually preventing us from living the reality our soul has been trying to create all along?

Bear with me here now. :)

Can you for a minute loosen your grip on the picture you've created in your mind about what you want or desire and become available for a reality that could be far richer, far happier and far more extraordinary than anything you've imagined?

Because everyone is talking about creating their dream life.

But what about your unimagined life?

The life the Divine has already imagined for you.

The life your mind can't even access because the mind can only create from what it already knows.

Your soul, however, isn't limited by your past experiences, your conditioning or your current identity. It already knows the path that will expand you beyond anything you can currently comprehend.

That thought first came to me while walking along Garryvoe Beach during a visit home to Ireland. Then, almost as if the Universe wanted to confirm it, the exact same message came through in a conversation with one of my private clients inside the Green Diamond Experience this week back in Provence. And so I had to share it here with you as I feel it is profound.

"Every dream I've ever had has been so much smaller than the reality I eventually lived."

Because here's what I've realised. Every dream I've ever had has been so much smaller than the reality I eventually lived.

Not because reality was easier. Quite the opposite!! Reality has always been far more expansive than the dream.

The Dream Gives You an Image. Reality Gives You an Experience.

The soul never grows through the picture. It grows through the experience.

The picture may inspire you. The experience transforms you!

And that changes everything.

Take something that so many people dream about, like having a baby. Imagining holding their baby in their arms, pushing the buggy through the park, feeding them, watching their first smile, meeting other parents, and creating beautiful family memories.

It's a wonderful dream. But anyone who has become a parent knows that the reality is something quite different.

No amount of dreaming prepares you for the sleepless nights. The exhaustion. The uncertainty. Learning the different cries. Wondering whether they're hungry, tired or wanting to be held. It can be a minefield! LOL

Then there is the questioning yourself. Listening to everyone's opinions about what you should or shouldn't be doing. Feeling stretched beyond anything you've ever experienced before. The dream never shows you that part.

And yet, if you asked most parents whether they would swap the reality for the dream, they would say absolutely not.

Because the reality is infinitely richer than the dream ever was. Not because it's necessarily easier, quite the opposite! Because it's richer. It changes you.

The Same Is True in Business

I see the same is true in business. My clients dream about freedom. Working from anywhere. Financial abundance. Making an impact. But they don't dream about the responsibility that comes with being an entrepreneur.

The difficult conversations. The self-doubt. The leadership required. The skills they will have to develop. The courage they will need to cultivate. Those experiences shape the leader the business has been asking them to become.

Most of us aren't dreaming from our soul. We're dreaming from our conditioning. We're dreaming from what feels familiar, safe, and achievable.

But our soul is always inviting us beyond that. This is where I believe we've become a little confused in the modern spiritual world.

We've become so attached to manifesting the picture that we've forgotten the picture isn't the point. The picture is simply the invitation.

"Your mind dreams in pictures. Your soul creates through experience."

Because your mind dreams in pictures. Your soul creates through experience. Your mind wants certainty. It wants guarantees.

It wants to know exactly how life is going to unfold. But your soul isn't trying to give you certainty. Your soul is inviting you into expansion.

Into a life that is bigger, brighter and far beyond your wildest dreams. Perhaps that's why life doesn't always unfold the way you imagined.

Maybe that's not because you've failed. Maybe it's because your soul isn't trying to give you what your personality asked for. It's trying to give you something your personality could never have imagined.

Having Versus Becoming

Because the personality dreams about having. The soul is interested in becoming.

The personality says, "I want the business."
The soul says, "I'm interested in the woman you'll become by building it."

The personality says, "I want the baby."
The soul says, "I'm interested in the mother or father you'll become."

Can you feel the difference?

One is focused on getting. The other is focused on becoming. It is not about collecting dreams. But it is about evolving through experience.

I believe that is why we came here. Not to achieve our dreams. Not necessarily to manifest a beautiful life. But to evolve through experience. To remember the power of who we truly are.

Not as personalities constantly trying to improve ourselves. We are infinite souls remembering ourselves through every experience life offers.

To discover capacities within ourselves that could never have been revealed by staying attached to the original picture.

The version of you who created the dream was creating from what he or she knew at that time. But your soul isn't limited by what you know. Your soul sees possibilities your mind simply can't comprehend yet.

Hold Dreams Lightly

It isn't about letting go of your dreams. It's about holding them more lightly. Seeing dreams as doorways and seeing where it leads you.

It's about saying:

"I'm open to something even greater." This is why I always say this or something better.

"I'm open to a reality my mind couldn't have imagined."

"I'm willing to trust that my soul can see further than I can."

When you live from the divine truth that dreams are a doorway into becoming MORE…. More loving. More courageous. More abundant. More present. More sovereign. More fully yourself.

So let me leave you with a question.

Where have you become attached to the picture that you've stopped embracing the experience?

And what if the reality you're living today isn't evidence that your dream has failed, but evidence that your soul is leading you somewhere far beyond it?

Because maybe the most extraordinary life you'll ever live isn't the one you've been dreaming about.

It's the one your soul has been directing and creating all along behind the scenes.

Knowing Your Soul Saves Time

This is why I believe that knowing the soul of who you are saves an awful lot of time, energy, and dark allies, chasing dreams that your soul doesn't want. When you know and live through your soul identity and blueprint, you tap into your soul's reality through the frequency of who you are and the corresponding frequency is seen by the reality you are living and experiencing.

The Soul Blueprint reveals your natural gifts, your unique frequency, your soul's way of creating, and the path your soul has always been inviting you to walk. And if you're curious to discover your own Soul Colour Identity and Blueprint, I'll leave the details below because it may just become the doorway to remembering who you've been all along.

For so many of us, we've been trying to experience life through a single lens, through the conditioning of our personality or through one dominant way of seeing the world.

But your soul was never designed to live in one colour. It was designed to live in the full spectrum. To embrace every colour, every experience and every lesson as part of your evolution.

Because life isn't asking you to become someone else. It's inviting you to remember who you've always been. A magnificent, infinite colourful soul having a human experience.

So perhaps it's time to stop asking,

"How do I make my dreams come true?"

And begin asking,

"Who is my soul inviting me to become through this experience?"

Because everything changes when becoming becomes more important than having.

If this message resonated with you, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. What dream are you being invited to hold more lightly so you can become available for an even greater reality?

Until next time…

Remember…

The dream was never the destination.

It was always the doorway.

And your soul already knows the way.
